Liz Lancaster Handmade Baby Blankets are unique hand knitted and hand sewn blankets used to sit on, to wrap baby in, or to sleep with. They are all soft, safe and beautiful.

Each square is made individually so that you can choose those you like the best, and those which are the most suitable for your baby. We will then make them up into a beautiful Baby Blanket - just for you.

We are a real cottage industry with all products made in our family countryside cottage. All the squares we have in stock are shown on this site - we make to restock when we have sold. Your neighbours are unlikely to have one of these!

The larger size Baby Blanket can also be Personalised with two lines of your own text if you wish - making it even more special.

Materials used on production

We have two yarns:

•A plain coloured boucle yarn - 80% cotton and 20% linen in such captivating shades as: Aqua, Azure, Candy Pink,Denim, Kiwi, Khaki, Lime, Pineapple, Pampas, Seaspray and Wisteria
•A hand dyed yarn - 79% wool and 21% bamboo in the rainbow colours of Adonis Blue, Jewel and Cherry.

Washing your baby blanket

The Blankets can be gently HAND washed in WARM water tested in the traditional way with your elbow. (If it is too hot for your elbow - it is too hot for your Blanket.) PLEASE DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
